My mantra is; "without knowledge or the education required for life's challenges, you are open to vulnerability."
I like to think of myself as a 'confidence creator'—a true advocate for your needs and peace of mind. I never lose the desire to achieve, and big or small, I see every obstacle as a challenge and every challenge as an opportunity.
My career has been colourful and diverse, and each and every role has lead me to become Ms. Negotiator. Owner of many small businesses, retail trainer, and established in the corporate world for some time, I eventually educated myself into mortgage broking in the early 2000’s to build my own mortgage company, and then sold at the time of the GFC to re-educate into financial planning/advice. I am a Fellow Chartered Financial Practitioner. It was in my financial advice practice that I identified the need for Financial Advocacy. Not Financial Planning, but accurate, meaningful information for those who require guidance or counselling in overcoming fears or family pressure, the ‘sandwich’ effect—parents caught between teenagers and ageing parents—how to manage patterns, and much more. I am also a member of the IPA - Institute of Practicing Accountants the AFA and Alliance Wealth.
Life has never been easy for me, but I am a survivor, and I hope to inspire and support you—putting you on track with firm conviction to achieve your potential.
